Professor Giuseppe Martinico joined us for our inaugural lunchtime DANCING Academic Conversation to discuss the new edition of his book The Tangled Complexity of the EU Constitutional Process: The Frustrating Knot of Europe.
The complexity of EU law presents many challenges to legal scholars working in this area. Professor Martinico’s approach to this body of scholarship offers compelling insights and tools to inform our own work as the DANCING team’s work contributes to wider understanding of constitutionalisation processes within EU law.
After presenting from his new volume, the DANCING team and invited guests took part in an informal Q&A with the author to explore connections between his work and the emerging findings of the project.
Giuseppe Martinico is Professor of Comparative Public Law at the Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna, Pisa.
